What began with a crowd-funded idea now serves thousands of Australian homes, delivering zero-waste, plant-based cleaning solutions that dissolve in water and leave no trace of plastic waste.
Built on the principles of transparency, design-forward aesthetics, and measurable impact, Pleasant State is Australia’s first B Corp cleaning brand. They combine rigorous sustainability standards with high performance, sourcing locally where possible, choosing compostable materials, and embedding social and environmental accountability in every step of their supply chain. From their Sunshine Coast production base to the hundreds of thousands of plastic bottles they’ve prevented from landfill, Pleasant State stands as a model for how profit and purpose can coexist.
Together, Ami and Sian guide Pleasant State with complementary strengths: Ami oversees operations, business growth, and strategy (with years of experience in sustainability and corporate roles), while Sian leads brand, marketing, and community storytelling, always centring mission over margin.
